I must give credit for discovering REVERORUM IB MALACHT to longtime comrade John Gossard (Dispirit, ex-Asunder, ex-Weakling)! Strangely enough, following his words of praise back in the early 10’s I haven’t instantly listened to any of their records. This is Read more

INFESTER “To the Depths, in Degradation” death metal re-release review and youtube stream

Re-releases of “best kept secret” type of old bands, usually package attractively mediocre quality content using 80’s/90’s nostalgia and vinyl fetishism. Even when the music is good, most such bands were mere clones back at the day, therefore their (re-) Read more

KIRI KIRI KIRI – 2xmixtape free download

Posted on by Vassago in Grindcore, Music | Leave a comment

kiri kiri kiriA mindless, formless, senseless morass of noise and glitch: KIRIKIRIKIRI featuring UK Liverpool artist Rob Morris on mixing duties,Finland metal prodigy Frans ‘Finowa’ Aalto on guitars and vocals, and Australian Sam Bean (Berzerker, The Senseless, ex-Mithras) on guitars. The old material is harsh and abrasive screechy metal electronic hell, with the stand out track being “Don’t Call Me A Liar”,and the kind ofproduction values that made old-school black metal famous. The new material is even more glitchy and mindfucked, featuring smooth production and moments that hit like a wrecking-ball wrapped in velvet.

Their music has influences from a variety of different but related genres such as Grindcore, breakcore, speedcore, sludge, doom, metal, and extreme music in general. One of the UK’s underground scene finest!

They offer 2 Mix tape albums on their web site for free (which you can download here) but for those who wants to have a taste of what they are about to listen here is the song “666×10” from their Mixtape 1 2010 release.

KIRI KIRI KIRI are unsigned and unaffiliated and they like it that way!

Shadow of Mordor Beginner’s Tips for PC

Posted on by Vassago in Gaming, PC | Leave a comment

Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor is a new world adventure game where a resurrected fighter (you) is looking to avenge the death of his beloved ones by going into a massacre spree against ORCs, Uruk and other creatures known by the LOTR fantasy world. While I am not a huge fan of the particular lore, nor the movie/books, the amazing graphics, movement and combat features, finishing combo moves and flexibility in building your own weapons with abilities and runes made me to purchase the game.

I spent a couple of hours exploring 3-4 different areas and will give you some tips that will hopefully save you time and help you progress faster. So without any delays here are some brief tips for those who start the game now: Read more

David Lynch and Mark Frost to release New Twin Peaks in 2016

Posted on by Vassago in Movies/Series, TV Series | Leave a comment

Only a couple of months after releasing Twin Peaks – The Entire Mystery [Blu-ray] [Region Free] in blue ray, David Lynch through a special announcement on twitter released a teaser showing the scene where Laura Palmer promises Agent Cooper that they will meet again in 25 years and then the date “2016” confirming this way that Twin Peaks will release a new third season sometime in 2016. It is also confirmed that Lynch will work along Mark Frost and that the series – which frustrated me so much back in the 90s when I originally saw it and left so many questions unanswered – will pick up where season 2 left and in particular 25 years later as Ray Wise hinted early this year so hopefully we’ll get some answers…..not!
